Oh! Wow! We sure have egg on our faces! That makes perfect sense now!Let’s see. Mr. Sada says that he is convinced that Saddam moved his WMD's to Syria shortly before we attacked Iraq. Evidently , they gathered up the WMDs from all over Iraq and used two Iraqi Airways passenger jets, which were converted to cargo planes by removing the seats, then flown 56 times to move the weapons. He says that ground transportation was also utilized to move WMD's to Syria. They did all that right under the noses of the UN inspectors. Gosh, those UN inspectors were truly incompetent, huh? No wonder the president did not allow them to complete their mission before he attacked. The invasion of Iraq was imminent, and our intelligence agencies would be spending considerable effort in monitoring the Iraqis, yet we failed to notice all this activity. Gosh the CIA sure became incompetent since GHWB left them haven’t they? And why would Saddam do this? Well, obviously he knew that we were going to attack and he didn’t want to be embarrassed by being caught with the goods. Gee, that would certainly have left him red-faced. So he ordered that the very weapons that he could have used to defend himself from an invading force be shipped away to another country. That was an absolutely brilliant move on his part.Sure, that makes perfect sense.I think you are right the Republicans should make this the CORNERSTONE of their upcoming political campaign. That will sure show those Democrats.

Defend himself? And get his nation nuked in response? Surely you jest.Under the nose of the UN Inspectors? What inspectors? There were no meaningful inspections for two years prior to the invasion. As for the movement, we did detect it. Where were you during that time? Oh yeah - rewriting history. How conveniently you forget the convoys of trucks carrying who-knows-what that our own liberally-biased press reported going across the border into Syria and Iran! Are they there? Good question. But this much is certain - something went over the border in the weeks and months leading up to the invasion - the flights did happen and so did the truck convoys.
