Ok Bush – good idea.
Now do the rest of it.
And no, that does not include any form of “amnesty”, “legalization”, or anything else.
First – secure the border. The National Guard is a good first start.
Second -
enforce the existing laws. It is already illegal – with a potential $10,000 fine per illegal alien – to employ these people. Data-match the SSNs – if there’s a duplicate, ICE shows up at both employers the next morning.
Start fining employers – show up on construction sites and do random raids. Demand the records on every employee on the job site. No W4s? You’re under arrest, here’s your summons (to the employer.) Do the same thing on the farms.
Tell all employers that they have 30 days - then the ICE people start showing up. Get caught, you go to jail and the fines are levied.
Democrats are
always screaming about how there are so many unemployed. Well, let’s create some job openings – by
enforcing the existing employment laws.20 years ago we gave amnesty and did nothing to solve the problem. This time we have to fix it. No other way around this.
We
must secure the border, and the bill currently under deliberation must
NOT include any form of “amnesty” or “regularization”. We simply can’t talk about this issue until the border is secure and the
existing laws are enforced.
