Oh boy, has sKerry done it now.
I mean, c'mon. Can it be any more clear how he - and the rest of the Democratic party - feel about our military? Do we need to understand anything more?
I don't care for what the Republicans have done over the last 12 years in office in the House and, more recently, the Senate. Our government has doubled in size, and most of the increase hasn't come in Homeland Security or our Military - most of it has been bullshit porkbarrel spending.
One of the "lauded" bills, the Medicare Part D law, was recently shown to be the stupidity that it is - when WalMart decided to sell over 400 prescription drugs for $4.00 for a month's supply - with or without insurance reimbursement.
Medicare Part D costs both seniors more and the government more. WalMart did what the government could not - and for everyone - not just Senior Citizens. Clearly, Medicare Part D (the "Drug Benefit") should be scrapped, as the private sector (Target has decided to match WalMart's pricing!) has achieved BETTER than the government - for less.
But - if you vote for sKerry's cohorts - that would be any Democrat come Tuesday - you're voting for this to happen in a city or town near you:

It'd be nice if this was not true, but unfortunately, it is.
So hold your nose come Tuesday and do the right thing.
